"It was a lovely Xmas break for a couple of days and it was lovely the staff were lovely and very helpful and carried my bags out to the taxi that was the receptionist and the lady making the bed carried my luggage down 3 floors to reception as I was feeling ill….. "Absolutely loved this hotel. Receptionist on check in was very helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. The room was fabulous, one huge room with queen bed and a totally separate room with a single bed and basin. Having a partner who snores like a freight train, the separate bedroom was a godsend. Lovely breakfast both cooked and continental. Great location right on the Hoe and 5 minutes walk to The Barbicon. Quick walk to city centre. Everything was really clean and the towels were large and fluffy. If not travelling would have stayed for a week. £10 to park overnight with paid street parking also available. Parking might be a bit tight in high season. Overall a great stay."
