"This is one of my favorite places to stay so far. I like to stay in the Cabanas because it opens up to the beautiful pool, bar, and dining areas. Its great to stay in the cabanas if you have kids so you can have direct access to the pool. I've stayed in the large 5 star hotels but prefer the more intimate setting at the Hotel El Panama. The free breakfast is subpar but the hotel is located in walking distance of good eateries!"

"Overall the stay was pretty good. The AC in the bedroom took a long time to cool off the room, like 5 hours. But after that it was very nice. I had an option this time to reserve a room on a HIGH floor, which i think tends to be more quiet. There was an extra $10 per night charge for this. I totally forgot about that and they put us on the 3rd floor. Still a nice room, next time i will remember to check the reservation before we check in."

"Housekeeeping never swept the bathroom floor under the sink!! The taxi station in the hotel ripped us off for $14The trip only cost $6 to get to Harley with a yellow taxi. He charged us $20. Not happy. Pool was great. Breakfast was wonderful. "

"The property was in good condition and ideal location and staff were friendly. The complimentary breakfast could have been better and the internet was slow/spotty. The mall across the street didn’t have many stores still operating but the casino was great. Overall the property and stay were nice. "

"This hotel is great if you are going on a cruise ship or returning from a cruise, a few minutes away. The location is a good 15 minutes to Old Town. Longer if you need night life in Panama City. The room was quiet, and A/C was good. Bed was comfortable, lots of room. No hot water in the evening for a shower, but hot water in the morning. The TGIF is on site, with average food and prices. In the morning the breakfast buffet was plentiful although the scrambled eggs were cold. The bar...
