We stayed there around Valentines Day and they had the hotel beautifully decorated for the event. Room and bathroom were large and very nice. Breakfast however could be improved with more variety. Good location and staff very helpful and pleasant . Definitely recommend

This is one of my favorite places to stay so far. I like to stay in the Cabanas because it opens up to the beautiful pool, bar, and dining areas. Its great to stay in the cabanas if you have kids so you can have direct access to the pool. I've stayed in the large 5 star hotels but prefer the more intimate setting at the Hotel El Panama. The free breakfast is subpar but the hotel is located in walking distance of good eateries!

Clean and comfortable place to stay. The breakfast menu could use a better selection. Breakfast selection, taste and temperature was extremely disappointing.

The hotel is very run down and old, it smells bad, the service is slow, there is a lot of noise, it is very expensive for such a bad hotel.
