"First, I have to give a shout-out to Jackie, who stayed a few minutes beyond her quitting time to get us checked in. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are spacious. The only beef I have is that there is a limited window for check-in and that made things a little difficult for us to get our workdays in and travel to Lewes on a Friday evening."

"Front desk personnel very helpful. Quickly helped me get the fan working in my room upon check-in. There was a brief outage with the wi-fi, which I confirmed with the front desk. Within a half hour staff called back to confirm I could reconnect without issues. Plan on staying there again next month."

"I really loved the desk person Dan. He was super! So attentive and kind. He makes you feel like you are his quest at his home. The hotel itself was nice with large rooms. Love the coffee in the lobby, as well as the breakfast spread. I used the gym and liked it as well. The pool however was small and no hot pool which was disappointing. I would have liked the cleaning staff to wipe surfaces of desk and night stand etc. There was crumbs and dust that were there for the entire stay so I know they...

"The staff was EXCELLENT. The breakfast staff had to contend with power outages yet went out of their way to make alternative breakfast options. The coffee was terrific and much appreciated since we had to get out early. The hotel is used by many sports teams for the nearby fields."

"Cape May is our happy place and we found a great new spot to stay. The property is in the heart of Cape May and walkable to all the great spots. John who runs the property is a great. Our breakfast was very tasty. The room had classic Victorian features and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend."

"If you have a room that faces the outside highway, be prepared for a lot of drug deals especially if you’re staying next to the exit door further away from the front desk. And prepare yourself for the disappointment at the steak shop is no longer open."
