"Nice place to stay"

"This luxury property is located on a hill in the Tuscan countryside, accessible via a windind road so its not walkable or convenient to anything else. But the incredible views, scenery and indoor spa made up for that. Its the only 4/5 star hotel near San Gimigiano i could find and the front desk staff were lovely and very helpful. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were good."

"Bed was very hard. I did ask for a mattress topper but it was so thin that it made no difference. Paper cups in the room were disappointing. Would have expected proper cups given that we had tea and coffee making facilities. Glasses for water were also plastic. Tea and coffee were not replenished each day. Nor was the water. Only allowed for one day of your stay! The balcony was different to the photo and also close to a busy road so not relaxing. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety....

"An absolutely beautiful hotel close to the centre of town. Everyone there was warm and friendly. The room was well maintained, comfortable and clean. Parking was very inexpensive and very convenient. A great place overall!"

"I liked the cleanliness, breakfast, parking, and reception staff. However, the breakfast area staff was noisy, talking to one another loudly and nonstop, not allowing customers to have a comfortable breakfast. The same applies to the room cleaning staff. They show up early and make the same noise. "
