"Excellent location and value! Right next to the castle and Kenroku-en, the hotel couldn't be better situated for seeing the sights of Kanazawa. Really unique style and rooms. We booked a junior suite, which due to the layout with the divider in the middle wasn't as spacious or practical as we were expecting, but for the value we got it for, no complaints at all (we're only two people, so in future would probably not have booked a junior suite again). "It was very close to the castle park and had a number of options for dining nearby, though we walked a bit further out to go to some specific places. The breakfast was in the building next door one of the days with a great view of the whole city. That hotel seemed a bit more luxury, but the room in ours was comfortable and spacious, so no complaints. "

"Staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. Our room was comfy and the private onsen was a dream. Food was amazing-lots of local ingredients, which was great to try. I have seen some complaints about it not being super new, but I feel that's part of the charm of this place. Highly recommend! "
