"A large hotel set in its own grounds. We had a comfortable double room on the ground floor. It was a bright room with a bay window looking out onto the courtyard and across to stables bar. We had breakfast included and it was self service, there was a large choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt. You could help yourself to a continental or full English. Despite there being a sign up on arrival that there was a private event with music till midnight… I didn’t hear a thing, the rooms are nice and quiet, the pool was lovely to wind down in after a busy day, and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh and was replenished often.
