Being winter couldn’t use the pool but would be great in summer. Wotif should remove reference to Gym as it’s not part of hotel and only accessible through a third party and for a fee. Need something for kids to do as only a tire swing in Tutukaka Would recommend this place as clean, comfortable and lovely location"

"The staff are super-friendly here. The location is amazing - the view awesome. You can walk easily to restaurants, shops or pop across to the beach. I loved sitting on the balcony watching people doing their thing. The room was well appointed, clean, neat, had everything you needed and more, plus a washing machine. We really loved staying here and would come back easily."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sanctuary Palms everything is set up to allow for a relaxing stay. The photos really don’t do it justice it is a beautiful home from home. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. We were a little worried about negative reviews about the parking situation and yes, it is tight but it’s only a short walk to find plenty of free on street parking which we favoured so that our large rental car didn’t cause any bother to other guests. "Greg and Peter were wonderful hosts. The room was extremely clean and a good size. The views of their garden and towards the bay were spectacular. Their breakfast was an absolute masterpiece - great choices, variety each day and so well served. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend them to anyone looking for special accommodation so close to Russell town centre."
