"We were in town for a concert and had a few hours to before the event, so we walked around the Plaza. Found a great bar to have a cocktail and light dinner. It was an extra cost for the parking garage, which is typical in that area. All interactions with staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room, although had no great view, was very nice and clean. I would highly recommend. "

"We came to Lawrence for a doctor's appt. The appt was over by noon, which was too late to check out. The front desk said they couldn't help because I booked through a third party. So, we tried to call hotels com., but had no luck. We packed up and drove back to Garden City.Everything I read said there would be no refund so that's where I gave up. We will be back in June"

"We liked everything about the property with the exception of not having hot water most of the visit. We were told that the older part of the hotel, where we stayed, has hot water issues occasionally."
