"Beautiful hotel, easy walking to many fun bars and restaurants. The SNHU arena is very close as well. The room was great, clean amd comfortable!! The hotel bar was fun, and we also enjoyed the indoor pool. Parking was easy and affordable. Great breakfast buffet."

"I appreciate a renovated historical property; so, I keep this in mind when reviewing. The facility was clean; the room unique. It was quiet (not sure if that was because my room was on the top floor though). The floors and walls were uneven, and this is likely because of its historical factor. "My husband and I recently spent a night at the historic Davenport Inn while visiting with our children. What a gorgeous property! Self check-in instructions were clearly communicated (including photos of parking area), the room was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Convenient location, convenient parking! Highly recommend staying at the Davenport should you visit the Portsmouth area. I know we will!"

"The area around the Inn is amazing. Parking limited only 5 spaces. The room looked run down, dirty toilet brush, badly stained paint around the bathroom door framing, heater didn't work. For $650 a night with no breakfast included, beware this is not a B and B breakfast costs extra so it's a BWB bed without breakfast. No vanity products or tea/coffee in the room. Would not recommend staying here, poor value for money. "
