"The service needs improvement. We may be unlucky been served by a by a new employee ( I hope it was just a new employee or an untrained one). I ordered a drink a the bar and I actually explained to the lady how to do it - it was just an Apperoll spritz- nothing fancy). On the dinner , after we ordered, after 15 minutes, she came back asking us if we want to order something. "Hotel very clean and comfortable, great room and bed, nice bar/lounge area. However one reason i booked this hotel was of the spa facilities, which were disappointing, the sauna and steam room were poor temperature wise, and the indoor pool was quite cool. Cooked breakfast could have been better. "

"Awesome spot for hiking central or exploring surrounding points of interest. Far from the madding crowd - in winter at least! Great atmosphere! Dog friendly ❤️ Breakfast a bit so so buffet style but maybe because of season and cold plates - because of season. Will be back "

"Comfortable nights sleep, the food was excellent, high quality ingredients and cooked beautifully. Only 2 things that where bit of issue was £10 a day parking at hotel, which was extra think for the money you pay to stay, it should be included. The hotel spa wasn’t working due to refurbishment but didn’t know about it until we arrived ."

"My stay was great from the moment I got checked in by Persia who was lovely and even offered to see if the kitchen would prepare me something even though they had just closed. After my long journey from London it was a very good welcome. My room had a beautiful window with a view of the Lake and the mountains. The rest of the staff from the bar to the restaurant was really accommodating and kind. It’s within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, cinema and the lake of course. "

"Lovely facilities and great atmosphere. Easy check in/out and clean room. The only issue I had was that the room itself was very cold throughout the night. But I did make the booking fairly last minute so it’s possible this was an oversight. "

"Great food and drinks in the restaurant. Breakfast served from 7.30am Mon - Sat and 8am on Sunday. Recently renovated, friendly staff, evening meal was great, try the steak pie!"
