The entire decor of the hotel felt like a work of art, and the lazy cats in the middle of the walkway were a big hit. Each room has an "open" show and toilet area in the main bedroom, partitioned by a glass tube and or curtain, which takes some getting used to. The staff is stellar, I enjoyed when they called us guest "citizens". The lobby feels akin to a hostel, in that its very communal, even with the likes of business workers. Its affordable and in a good location. Watch out for all the bikes!"

"Slightly off the beaten path, but absolutely a gem. The rooms are beautiful—bright, airy, and gorgeous designed. The staff? Incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. There’s a great spot to grab a bite on-site, plus a few restaurants just across the street. Best part: you can sleep with the window open. Just a 10-minute walk to Amsterdam’s main train station. Honestly, I wish I’d stayed for a week. I can see the hotel as a fantastic location for a conference, strategy meeting, or staff retreat."

"This is a beautiful hotel. I knew we couldn't go bad by picking a Holiday Inn, after seeing all the other options in Amsterdam. We were greeted by nice receptionists that spoke pretty fluently in English which was a huge bonus after our week in Germany. The rooms are large and clean, the bathrooms are a good size as well with rainfall showers. "Neat retro hotel. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Borrowed some bikes from the hotel and had a nice ride along the water. Hotel resteraunt was decent, only con was the food and coffe was not hot and they ran out of Hollandaise sauce so no eggs bennys."
