"We stayed for 2 weeks using it as a base to visit museums in Heraklion and for visiting the south and east of the island. The hotel is in the centre of the city, ideal for sightseeing and restaurants, but in a very built up area. Parking is at a premium in this area, with cars parked absolutely everywhere around the hotel. "The property is more like a small village complex than a hotel, with pathways linking the apartments to the main areas, bar, pool etc. It is so tranquil, a really lovely place to stay. The beach is a few minutes away, but we mostly stayed around the hotel. The staff are all very friendly and multilingual. The food was excellent and I’d recommend the buffet breakfast, it really set me up for the day. "

"Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"

"Nice hotel and staff were friendly and helpful. If you have mobility issues don't pick this hotel as lots of steps up and down and their shuttle service to the beach and town is limited. I use crutches and found it a struggle to get around and felt trapped in a pretty prison. My room was spotless and serviced every day as was the hotel. "
