"The Manager and staff were all very welcoming, pleasant and accommodations were beautiful. We also took our Daughter, her husband & 2 grandchildren. We were all in the Maison category rooms w/loft & able to open to a small balcony for fresh air. Rooms are sound proof, spacious & very modern altho bldg was built in the 1600’s. Lovely stay and would highly recommend staying at this hotel. "

"Beautiful property and excellent location. Very close to the train station, so no cabs required if this is how you’re arriving/departing. Right in the middle of Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. Restaurants and other main attraction areas are within 5-10 minutes walking. Very clean rooms, helpful staff, and nice bathrooms. Showers are small as they are in all of Italy, but not a problem for us. Would absolutely stay here again. "

The rooms are luxurious, the beds are comfortable, the service is top notch. I would not hesitate another visit to this splendid property. We did not eat on site, other than breakfast in bed one morning (which was lovely). So I cannot comment on the dining. "The one downfall of the room was the shower. It had only a half glass that was supposed to keep the water from spilling on to the floor. It didn't work. Had water all over the floor. What a mess. This is a terrible design. Also, in our room, the wifi was very weak. "
