The hotel itself is not near the old town, but it is about 15 min walk to the closest bus station which gets you there fairly quickly. It’s about half an hour walk from the city bus terminal. "

In the Konavle area, close to Dubrovnik, there is an old railway tunnel that was built by the Habsburgs. It makes a switchback on the mountain to slowly loose height. Now you can walk through it and see the bats that live there. In May the wildflowers leading up to it were stunning! Even in the rain!
