"+ The hotel is placed in the middle of everything, the room was nice and had lots of space and a great balcony. The madrass were very good and aircon/fan was working around the clock, so the room was always in temperature. All the pools were perfect. - I would have loved to know - in advance- that my room was placed in another building, as I travel alone. At breakfast my table were cleaned (even for food) and my table given to someone else when I was getting a refill. The breakfast were good, but food "a la carte" was no good"

The coffee and beds were some of the best I've had in Africa. Daniela and I had a great conversations and she arranged a prison island tour for us. It was my second trip to Stone Town and second tour. Last time it wasn't bad but this time it was a better experience. The pilot and your guide this time were far superior to the last prison island excursion. "

"The place need more entertaining as is very quiet area the location if you want to go anywhere you need taxi. The room has not tv cleaning ladies come early to do the room when we asked to wait some time and few minutes later they come again - was problem with air conditioning no working well but resolve and also two day we have issue with water in room for shower and toilet etc -food is ok in general nothing wow- the desert cakes etc feel not home made from taste and how look fake style and taste - friendly staff - bar did not have anything Simlar as Bailey - the out hrs food was not much to chose and also never had ice cream on any meal - only the one to buy in the shop and hay is not included on "
