"It was my 1st time in Portogallo, I chose Porto, specifically the Douro River, because it seemed low key & like a cool place.... it was! The only 2 negatives were the pillows, they were down & there were no others in the room. I didn't see a note in the room saying they were available upon request, that it made sleep difficult. I caught an intestinal virus after my 1st meal, having nothing to do with the hotel of course. The food at the restaurants, i only had 2 meals, was tasty but portions...

"Fantastic hotel. Very easy and fast check in and check out. Not expensive at all. Very polite and helpful staff. Large and clean room and bathroom with a frigobar there. Splendid breakfast for 12 euros, lots of choice, hot and cold food, cereals, pastries, and fruits. Very well located, 15 min walking to Ribeira. Certainly we are going to be back. Certainly "
