"The staff were excellent, especially reception staff at check-in, and at the spa. The facilities and fittings and fixtures all seemed well maintained and very pleasant. The only let down was the utterly useless pillows. Pillows are supposed to raise your head and give you some meaningful support. "Really good experience from check In to check out. Room wasn't quite ready went I arrived a bit earlier, but I could leave my luggage and come back later. Room was excellent, really comfortable bed with plenty of plugs in the right places (next to bed) to charge gadgets. Breakfast again was excellent, with lots of choice both hot and cold. "I liked all the plants around the hotel, it looked very pretty. I also liked the eco friendly nature, how everything was recycled and the ease of recycling rubbish etc. The decor was minimalist which I loved. The staff in the bar and bistro were excellent, as were the housekeeping staff. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and I really appreciated the gluten free corner, so lovely to have more options to eat! We had a gorgeous evening meal in the bistro one night, which I could highly recommend....
