"The restaurant food was great and fresh. The staff are great and helpful and we always enjoy staying, the gym/pool experience was a little disappointing with no towels because the attendant had to stay to monitor children. We had to then go get room towels and didn’t feel like great service, the last time we stayed there were also problems with the pool. also the room temperature was freezing and not changeable."

"Overall great stay, very friendly staff and clean hotel. Found us a table in restaurant whilst event was on which was very nice. Pool area was not very tidy, towels left everywhere as not clear message where to leave them. No conditioner available in gym/pool area, own goal. Room was clean just a bit tied around the edges, small older tv. "

"We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable. We used the leisure facilities in the morning which open at 7. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were relaxing. I hope to go back and spend a couple of nights. "

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Only one person on the reception desk who was on the phone so had to wait a while to check in. Was told it was room only despite my insistence that breakfast was included. Eventually she found the booking and agreed that breakfast was included By this time, there were several couples waiting to check in. Our room was in a separate annexe which was lovely but unfortunately the walls between the rooms were very thin. We had several people trying our door....

" We had a lovely stay at Coombe Abbey. Unfortunately we were let down as the room was cold. (There was only one little radiator to heat the bedroom, but were given another on request ). We then realised that the bath hot tap was stuck to find we couldn’t bath. When we ran the shower it was cold. Not one to complain but was asked to leave an honest review. "
