"The trip was amazing. The resort is a little aged. Our bath tub drain was clogged up when we got there and despite having maintenance look at it twice it was still clogged. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Be aware that there is a daily resort and parking fee but if you want to use the gym on site you also have to pay for that separately and if you want a beach chair or boogie board you can rent those as well. "I love this resort. We stayed in the other side last time and I do feel like it was nicer and newer. Each one is a little different. I was told at check in that we would have housekeeping every day. We did not. I had to call down a few times to get things cleaned. They came and did it. But there was a lack of communication there. The beach is great here. We watched whales and turtles the entire day from our beach. "

Just walking distance to: Coffee shop, grocery, restaurants, snorkeling rental, food trucks, and of course the beach. Then few minutes drive to the mall, major beaches in the area (such as Kaanapali and Kapalua), and the blow hole. As for the property, building isn't new but updated.
