"This place was something out of a storybook. A hidden treasure trove of history, ornate decorations and coziness, we had a truly magical stay here over the weekend. Our host Richard was a delight; very helpful, courteous and produced the most wonderful breakfasts. Quiet and contemplative atmosphere, with beautiful, clean rooms with great decorations. Beware that there are quite a lot of stairs to get to the 2 suites downstairs (I'm guessing around 15-20) plus stairs to get to the house from where you leave the car.
