Friendly and impeccable service. The grounds are beautiful and the interior opulent. Our room had a comfortable king sized bed, an outdoor patio overlooking a lovely courtyard and a washroom with a large walk-in shower. The Nespresso coffee in-room was appreciated. The ‘pièce de résistance’ for us was enjoying the heated whirlpool as snowflakes fell around us. We also appreciated the Hammam steam bath.

Charming restored mansion. Friendly, bilingual staff. It has a peaceful atmosphere. Close to all the tourist towns in the Laurentians, with a view to the lake. The food was excellent.. would definitely return.

Outstanding hotel. I almost don’t want to leave a great review so it remains a hidden gem! Gorgeous spot in the Laurentides, with the main building having been painstakingly restored and decorated over the course of 4 years. We stayed in the newer second building (a 1940s building fully renovated last year.) Our room was spacious, and fully kitted out with top in-floor heating in the fully tiled bathroom, and state of the art heating/cooling/drying system in the room. Bed was comfortable. Furnishings were beautiful period pieces. Staff were very attentive and friendly - we got a tour of the main building from the concierge, Manon. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic - from the wonderful sommelier to our amazing server, Christophe. The property grounds are stunning - we’d love to come back in the summer and can’t wait to return!

First off the location is amazing, beautiful old property with fabulous gardens and views. The building has been beautifully renovated and updated while maintaining its old world charm. The restaurant is 5 star, with knowledge, pleasant courteous staff. Stonehaven is just fabulous!!
