"The staff were kind, the property is stuck in the 70’s. Asked for non smoking room, but got a smoking room. Carpet sticky and needed to wear sandals inside the room. Bedding and curtains stank. It gave me a head ache. Okayama is not it! "

"The hotel is located on a mountain close to the center of town. It was very easy to go to the castle and garden by car. The breakfast was awesome and the room was very large and spacious. The view from our room was amazing, looking out over the city. "

"Very nice traditional Japanese hotel within 5 minutes walking distance from the Tourist Information Center if you took the public bus. I stayed in a Japanese style room with ocean view and slept on futon laid on tatami. Dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate, and the food was pretty good (kind of in fine-dining style). They have shuttle bus service from and to Fukuyama Station so be sure to take advantage of it. The welcome drink that they serve when you check in was nice."
