"The hotel is very close to Kurashiki station and walkable distance to Bikan historical quarters. There are many shops and restaurants nearby shotengai/roofed shopping areas. The room was clean and has basic things you need. The microwave in the room was a nice touch. I bought breakfast at the grocery store next door and warm up my food. Overall, great price and very convenient location. "

The hotel is located close to many of Kurashiki's attractions, but is ~15 minute walk from Kurashiki station which was slightly inconvenient with luggage, but not a major issue. "Accommodations for five to sleep, but ONLY a small couch for TWO people to sit. No extra stools or chairs. Very uncomfortable to relax. Not even a bath stool in the shower room. "

"A very nice hotel at a very fair price. We did make an error in not checking the location. It is about 30 minutes out of central Kurashiki. This required a local train which runs every 30 mins or so. There were some restaurants close by and we both enjoyed the Onsen baths. So swings and roundabouts but enjoyed our stay."
