Only niggles were no full length mirror and barely enough shampoo and soap for one person let alone two. Note there is nowhere to get food in immediate vicinity except hotel restaurant (overpriced as with all hotel restaurants) or across the street at airport for very limited costly crisps and chocolate bars. "Loved this hotel. I like the decor. The staff were lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was an enjoyable stay. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the pool, which was a nice surprise. Having a bottle of wine to celebrate the birthday we were away for was a lovely addition, thank you very much. The location was fantastic. The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. "I love the Q1 but they didn’t give me the Gold VIP rewards so I had to go and ask reception who reluctantly gave me a bottle of sparkling wine and a row of chocolates and $20 off Spa treatments. The room was pricey but was actually one of the worst ones we’ve ever had in the Q1 so we paid for an upgrade which double the cost of our 5 night stay. I’ve never been offered the room upgrade in any of the Gold VIP access rooms I’ve booked except in Bali. Would love it if hotels in Australia honoured...
