"Great location for night out"

"A really nice hotel with convenient public transport connections nearby and plenty of shops to choose from within a short walking distance. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, if a little compact for a family (2 adults 1 child) sharing. For 1 or 2 people the room we had would be perfectly fine. The leisure facilities were wonderful. A small gym, and a nice little pool (maybe 15 meters long?) with poolside sauna and steam rooms. The communal shower in the pool area doesn't switch off...

"A lovely place to stay and very central. Friendly staff and a convenient location. Lovely cooked breakfast. The shower was a bit dated and there were no radiators but there was an electrical radiator. The room itself was of good quality. Would definately stay here again."

"Was unsure about booking as it had a low customer rating, however in the whole we were pleasantly surprised. The location is excellent just off the high street and overlooking the cathedral at the back. Parking was fine and there were always spaces during our stay. Our bedroom was a good size and the bed very comfortable. No problem with the bathroom. If we were being picky I’d say the bedroom/ bathroom was a little dated but for what we paid was fine. "Good for the cost though seemed slightly understaffed over the Christmas period perhaps. Gym and pool area decent, nice staff across site. Needs a little spruce up of exterior and recycling bins as an improvement. "

The parking situation is awful, we stayed 6 nights, and were in and out whilst staying and spent what seemed like ages driving around the one way system going from one car park to another trying to find space (each time you tried either the top or bottom car park it was another loop around the whole of the city centre!)
