"Lovely art deco style quirky hotel, staff really friendly. Stayed in family room which was fab. Really deep bath & good shower, products excellent. Breakfast fresh & nicely cooked. Really nice stay would recommend. Would have loved to have seen it in its hey day."

I ordered a drink a the bar and I actually explained to the lady how to do it - it was just an Apperoll spritz- nothing fancy). "My stay at The Grange Hotel was pleasant and the staff went out of their way to help me in terms of room comfort and a slightly early breakfast (I had to leave earlier than breakfast start time). The food was tasty and of a good standard. In terms of the room, whilst it had a view towards the sea, I would have expected a larger room for the price but this is fairly typical of this type of property ie the charm of the place is in the character of the building and grounds....and this place does...

"Awesome spot for hiking central or exploring surrounding points of interest. Far from the madding crowd - in winter at least! Great atmosphere! Dog friendly ❤️ Breakfast a bit so so buffet style but maybe because of season and cold plates - because of season. Will be back "

"My stay was great from the moment I got checked in by Persia who was lovely and even offered to see if the kitchen would prepare me something even though they had just closed. After my long journey from London it was a very good welcome. My room had a beautiful window with a view of the Lake and the mountains. The rest of the staff from the bar to the restaurant was really accommodating and kind. It’s within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, cinema and the lake of course. "
