"We had a lovely overnight stay at this inn. The room was great , very clean , quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfortable, quality bed linens. Spacious ensuite , plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower. Showe gel , shampoo and towels all provided. We had a lovely meal in the evening , 3 course special menu was great value. Great breakfast provided in the morning. Team at the inn were friendly and welcoming. Full of character "

"The staff were extremely helpful and on hand if and when we needed them. This is an old building which has kept its character which added to the experience. The room had an en-suite and was clean and the water was nice and hot. They don’t do evening meals but Okehampton is not far away so eating out is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent and plenary of choice."

Kennard’s House: postbox № PL15 31 A small postbox on the old course of the main road, dating before the main dual carriageway was put through: at the extreme right-hand edge of the picture, a redundant cat's eye can be discerned, now occupying a curiously non-central position in a little driveway. The postbox is emptied at 10:30 each morning except Sunday.
