"Stayed at the Shaw Club for New Year's Eve this year. It was my third time at the hotel and it remains one of my favourites in the area. It's close to pretty much everything you'd want to be close to. It's a short walk to the downtown core, and a short walk to the walkway down the Niagara parkway. This time around, I learned something. We were given a room in the clubhouse...which it the building next door where the Thai restaurant is. The room was bigger, but seemed older. The stairs...

"I stayed there with my husband in November. It was a lovely stay. Room was cosy and breakfast was amazing. Very relaxing. A bit far from walkable dinning options but with a car there are many great options around. Also close to Niagara-on-the-lake lovely town and vineyards. "

"My stay at this establishment was Excellent. Any questions or concerns that I may have had were addressed immediately and reconciled swiftly. I was only there for 3 nights and I wish that I could’ve stayed longer. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend it. "The property overall is good and clean, quiet neighborhood. Cons: The beds are uncomfortable seems like mattress have springs that keep hurting your back! One of the bathrooms with shower door has a very slippery floor once the soap, shampoo is used inside shower the floor gets very slippery .be careful if you have kids or old people it’s risky! "

"Old Ivy Walk is the perfect place to stay while visiting NOTL. We were able to park our car at the house and walk everywhere. Our host, Phil was a pleasure to get to know. Even before we met he gave recommendations on where to eat, when to buy show tickets, etc. A delicious breakfast was waiting for us each morning. The house is beautifully maintained and very comfortable. We are looking forward to visiting again this summer."

"I'm shocked they used the deposit for cleaning the Hot tub... I clean the entire house and left it in good condition."

"The condo was nice, looked exactly like the pics depicted. It mostly had everything we needed except any kind of food wrap as we had brought some of our own food to make while we were there, but it would have bern handy to have zip locks or tin foil to wrap things in when we needed to. Also the check out was horrible. I was told on the phone that we could check out at 12pm, but the cleaning lady was there at 11, and tried multiple times to come into the condo while we were still in there...
