"We were upgraded on arrival and we were staying for 3 nights so that was a bonus. We had the Dinner B&B package so was a little disappointed to have a very limited menu offering i.e. 3 starters, 4 mains and 3 desserts but the majority of the Inclusive menu was aimed at Vegans or vegitarians. Restaurant was also inconsistent with food preparation, first 2 nights we had a proper little side salad with the starters or mains however on the last night, it was just lettuce! "I had a great experience at the Mercure hotel! Robin at the desk was welcoming and upgraded our room when he saw it was my birthday, along with complimentary drinks at the bar. The room was really clean and had a lovely view of the peace gardens. I would definitely recommend and stay there again."
