"This is a great hotel next to the train station and a short walk to the city centre. Whilst the room was very clean and comfortable, the climate control didn't seem to work, and it was a little dated in places, namely the TV and the bathroom could do with an update. "Check in was awful. Asked to wait for 10-15 minutes as system “wasn’t working” with no apology or empathy from receptionist. Went to bar to get drink, had to pay as couldn’t charge to a room yet. Went back to reception with a queue of people that were being checked in (by someone else) all fine so took about 25-30 mins in all. Still no apology. Think should have come find me when system working?? Bar was all of 10 yards away! Got to room, and whilst clean, the carpet was threadbare, the same as...

"Nice big rooms, Nice reception area with pleasant staff . The spa swimming area with Sauna and Steam room is decent and the bars are nice with nice bar staff. Also visited the restaurant for dinner which was excellent with great service , good quality food and a nice setting."
