"Just had a 3 night stay at The Old Lodge with my 7 year old son. Everything was as good as it could be, amazing room overlooking the grounds, really comfy beds, nice bathroom, everything nice and clean, staff were brilliant really friendly and professional.. we didn't eat in the evening here we ate out every night but the breakfast was lovely plenty of choice for my son... Couldn't ask for more really and Malton is a lovely little place lots of shops and pubs ... Overall I'd give The Old Lodge...

"This is a wonderful property and unusual for a hotel with a spa. It is located in the market town of Helmsley which offers a great selection of places to wander to. The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. The spa is included in the price too, which is another reason to visit this...
