"Third time we have stayed here which ought to say something. Very convenient for the A1 and the rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable. As well as that the restaurant serve very good food at reasonable prices, as it was our final night of our holiday in Scotland and we were travelling home it was very welcome. Parking is convenient and close - just outside rooms. "

"This is above a pub 2 minutes from the station. Eaglescliffe is a nice place to stay though there isn't much around the station to look at. The hotel is a bit basic but clean and good value for money."

"Lovely family run pub in very quiet location with rooms and great home made meals. Easy reach of A1M and A19. Very welcoming after long day and very sociable. Brilliant cooked breakfast and lovely to see a community pub so popular with the locals."

"We've stayed here before the pub is in the town center with free parking. Rooms are dated but clean, double usb sockets on bedside lamp (nice touch). Staff are polite and friendly. Nice cheap accommodation in the heart of malton. Busy karaoke bar but not too noisy in the room. Will stay again. "

"A lovely hotel/pub. The staff were very welcoming helpful, friendly and efficient. The chef produced some wonderful meals We've stayed in larger rooms but that didnt matter as there was everything you needed with the added bonus of being so lovely and warm as we chose to stay during the coldest few days of this year. York, Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors were all not far away. We'll definitely be back."
