"For anyone who has stayed at the Burley before, you will be surprised at the high quality of the upgrade and renovation of the public areas and rooms. "I was only here for 2 days but found it easily, was able to park (if a bit pricey) and charge my car there. Breakfast was good quality and value. The room was very well appointed and comfortable so slept well. The only small criticism was the bar which had very loud pounding music playing in the evening even when empty. Wanted to watch the snooker with a drink but TV was behind the bar so seemed to be more for the staff than the customers. Went back to my room, instead."

"This hotel overlooks Rutland Reservoir and had some amazing views. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had afternoon tea in the Blossoms which was tasty and filling. And the breakfast was amazing, literally everything you could want. The only problem we had was, we booked a "cozy" double, their cheapest room, which was in the eaves and had slanted ceilings and unfortunately the placement of the shower meant neither me (5 foot 10) or my hubby (6 foot 2)...
