"The staff were lovely and really helpful. The room we were booked into had a problem with the heating and, after trying to fix the problem which unfortunately didn’t work, we were moved to another room which was perfect. Food in the evening was very good."

"Arrived late after a long drive, had dinner in the restaurant. Dinner was tasty (although the fish was undercooked) and the dessert was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, although I wasn't keen being stuck with other single diners! The room was a good size, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, one of the cleanest bath areas I have ever seen (although I am not 100% sure the toilet seat was wiped thoroughly!) It was well appointed, tea / coffee and kettle, hairdryer, plenty of sockets (none next to the bed, only 1 small niggle) and the bed was a good size, clean and plenty of pillows. I would definitely recommend to other travellers, the breakfast was very decent, self service everything but again the staff were pleasant and welcoming. "

"Beautiful chateau hotel in a building that dates back hundreds of years. This is not a modern hotel but it has all the comfort and luxury plus the amazing history. I’d definitely stay here again. Breakfast is not included! "
