"We arrived far too early for check in but the staff still tried to find us a room. This wasn’t necessary as we were planning to explore the city. But as soon as we arrived the lobby, reception, and restaurant were all very well maintained and decorated charmingly for the Christmas period. "Room was super clean and spacious. Ned comfortable. Only negative was that the lights on the heaters glow so brightly that room wasnt dark and that kept waking me up. Seating area near bar is tired and could do with upholstering and the floor was littered and untidy, however the rest of the hotel was clean and tidy. We have stayed here several times and give it a thumbs up, its not 5 star but it isstill a lovely hotel and very good value for money."
