"Great location near shopping in North Conway. This was a quick escape from the grind of work, and the location near shopping and dining was excellent. Front desk and staff are very friendly, including toward "third party" booking guests. While we did not spend enough time to take advantage of spa resources, they are available onsite. The place is in need of some repairs and maintenance, but is actually in pretty good shape for the the property age. HVAC was a bit difficult to make...

"This was our first visit since the renovations, and we were pleased with them outside of 2 things. First is the rooms are too “chic” and the sofa chairs in the rooms are not very comfortable, however, the bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows! The bathroom and shower were excellent. The 2nd thing was the outdoor hot tub “shrunk”. The original could easily hold 10-12 people no problem. The “new” one holds maybe 4 comfortably, not sure why they would make it smaller. "It was only after we arrived at the property we were told that the pool and our jacuzzi were both out of order. We wouldn’t have stayed there had we known before hand. We even ran out of hot water when taking showers at night. It seemed old and in need of many updates and the worst part is the general manager was not helpful at all. I wanted a full refund for showing up to a non functional hotel but the general manager only offered a coupon for a free weekend. It was the WORST experience...
