"Really nice hotel, spa was nice. The suites could use some upgrades (the windows) there was water between the glass panels so the view couldn’t be enjoyed as much as it should have been. Especially when the heat was on full as it was -3 and it was just cloudy window panes. "

"The room was small, and some of the furniture was dated and damaged (knocked chipped), but it was clean. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great. Would we stay here again yes but maybe upgrade the room choice "

"We stayed for 2 nights and i was impressed with the hotel. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was really good and selection was plentiful. The only down side was the parking £15 a day i think they should review that policy but overall A+++"

"Had a lovely stay at kotel. Very comfy rooms and amazing bathroom and little kitchenette has everything needed for a little break. We only stayed 1 night and was perfect. "

"The staff were really attentive, without being too much. A little time in getting drinks, but to be honest this just made us relax into the chilled atmosphere more. The location was superb and we went for a dog walk straight from the hotel. Great historic old, hotel to be able to take a dog to. Can loose yourself in the view over Windermere "

"The service needs improvement. We may be unlucky been served by a by a new employee ( I hope it was just a new employee or an untrained one). I ordered a drink a the bar and I actually explained to the lady how to do it - it was just an Apperoll spritz- nothing fancy). On the dinner , after we ordered, after 15 minutes, she came back asking us if we want to order something.
