"The hotel is lovely! The decor, the comfort of the beds, the food is really good and breakfast is delicious! Soooo dog friendly Bear had a home from home, lots of fuss and a lovely touch of a doggy treat bag in the room when we arrived! The staff are all lovely, from initial contact checking if we wanted to book the restaurant before we arrived to a lovely big hug as we left! While the occasion was a sad one due to a family bereavement, every single member of staff made the pain less, professional and sensitive service, attention to detail and an empathetic attitude, simply superb. We stayed in the Grange and it was lovely, the food was excellent and the setting impressive. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay again. "

"If you are someone who wants to walk around a busy village, here may not be the best place for you however many places like alnwick centre are only at 20 minute drive. the rest of the property as immaculate as well as the service we experienced."
