"The air conditioning in the rooms won't work until May, according to hotel policy. It feels hot. They moved us from the 5th floor to the 1st floor, and they had to provide us with a fan, which still wasn't enough. What I disliked most was that this hotel policy wasn't communicated to us when we made our reservation."

"Nice hotel 2 blocks away from center of town, but far enough to be in peaceful & quiet neighborhood. Clean room. Helpful staff. Quiet neighborhood with unassuming restaurants nearby which are actually delicious (check out the portuguese restaurant!). Pool is a plus. It is close to Interlaken West station & a 20 minute walk from Interlaken East station. Recommend this hotel. "

"Nice location just outside of the busy part of town. Very convenient to the train station, but not noisy. The hotel is like a museum inside and there are lots of interesting things to look at. "

"Amazing small cosy hotel, be sure to book mountain side views as it is one of the best views in the area! Breakfast was yummy with fresh eggs to order. Staff lovely and polite. Spa is included which is a great touch, the hot tub was amazing facing the mountains and one of the main reasons I booked this place, although it was cold a couple of nights, they had just had a new and larger hot tub installed so were some teething issues I think, but they made sure it was warm when asked in advance....

"Everyone at the Metropole hotel (and throughout the community for that matter) was super kind and helpful. The structure reminds me of the Nakatomi Tower with its modernity and charm. Unfortunately, I don’t see Hans Gruber anywhere … But it warmed my heart as many people sounded like him! The Metropole is centrally located amongst all the action!
