"Absolutely lovely small hotel directly on Lake Como in Varenna. We loved our small but very well equipped room and bathroom. Loved the “ rain shower”. Nice balcony with beautiful views. Excellent breakfast in a stunning setting. Excellent service, too. "

"Extremeley friendly and helpful staff. Would reccomend this place for sure. Easy walking distance to the central piazza and lots of eating options. My advice for dinner, check out 'Da Beppe' about 1 block from hotel and well worth the visit for dining at night. "

"This is a very traditional historic Swiss Hotel, located next to a bus station that is the end of the line (about a twenty minute scenic bus ride to St. Moritz). Because the hotel is very old, it has natural character and charm. That said, the bathrooms are modern.
