Had been going to stay at one of the 5 star hotels on the outskirts, but that would have meant shuttles in and out all the time, so this was way better. Really comfy bed, and good kitchen facilities, not that we really used them. Would just have liked a couple of dining chairs for the indoor table. Lovely pool area. It is an old resort that could do with more $$ spent on entry and the back villas. The pool area was Fabulous, We enjoyed relaxing each afternoon in the warm waters."

"We would stay here again, but if you can manage some stairs I'd prefer the top floor. Having people above you can be annoying. The manager's we're friendly and very accommodating.The apartment was fresh with modern decor and beautiful gardens! Equipped with everything you need. A great, private pool and good BBQ area too. It's at the top end of the main street of Port Douglas. An easy, flat walk to everything. The beach is only 5 minutes the other way! "
