"We stayed here for a family holiday with 9 of us. This house was perfect for everyone to have heaps of space for sleeping, chilling and playing. A beautiful quiet location with a lovely view but close to essentials for food shopping. We opted to cook up over eating out and had everything we needed. A short drive to port Douglas and easy to drive from Cairns. Thank you very much for a great stay. "

"Lovely property with a set up that was perfect for our extended family group. Older couple with daughter, son-in-law and 2 kids, 6 and 3. The kids loved to pool and were in it every day. The location is in a quiet, leafy area just south of the main streets of Port Douglas a short 8 mins. away by car. The photos of the site are exactly as depicted. Plenty of towels and pool towels all provided."

"Liked the private pool and the general one. Also liked the spa. Private pool was a bit dirty with leaves all around. Good to have a BBQ. Did not like that it felt like you had dirt under your feet all the time. All uo a great location though."

"It’s like having your own private resort. Generous sized bedrooms. Separate sleeping quarters and granny flat from the house allows for a retreat from the main living areas. An added bonus, nearly every bedroom has its own bathroom with four bathrooms and five toilets in total - very beneficial for a large group. If considering booking during summer, keep in mind the living area is not air-conditioned and the pool is not covered. Overall, we had a fantastic Christmas getaway. "

"Great place for two families to catch up. Since there four bedrooms, two at each end of the house we had a bit of separation when the kids went to bed. The pool, which came with some toys, and outdoor seating area was a great place to relax. The kitchen was well equipped and had some staple items. There was even a pod coffee machine! "We went to Port Douglas to celebrate a special birthday with our 3 adult children, their partners and our grand daughter. The house was perfect, everyone had their own space with large common areas for us to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beach was a short stroll at the end of the road to with beautiful sunrises and walks on the beach. The beach shack was just around the corner for our morning coffees and town a short car ride. "The Bahama House is fabulous and we had one of the best family holidays ever. Loved the layout, plenty of room both inside and out for our four families, including 3 grandchildren. The House is located near four mile beach, a kids playground, small shopping centre and a couple of cafes are within walking distance. Only a short drive to the centre of Port Douglas for dinner and lunch, or if you want, you can walk along 4 Mile beach to PD (lovely in the morning or late afternoon). The kids...
