"Stayed just one night, also had drinks at the pub, easy access to Sherborne town centre, wheres plenty of shops, bars, cafes,Restaurants. Free parking if you are staying in hotel, for 24 hours. Register your car at reception. Had bath&shower which im happy to have. Clean,and very white bedding and towels, hangers, tea making facilities. . Comfortable bed. Staff i came into contact with were very nice. Would stay again next time im visiting friends in Sherborne. "

"Hotel has a nice atmosphere, is in a great location as it is overlooking the ocean with easy access to the sandy beaches. I had a room with a balcony which was lovely watching the boats go by & having a cuppa in the morning. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Shower head was too heavy for the holder & it kept drooping down but i made do. Was happy tea/coffee was available in the room & a hairdryer & desk fan. Leisure centre was really nice, had a great time going in the hydro pool,...

"Great spot for exploring local area and lovely walk to West Bay. Staff were always polite, friendly and helpful at all times which makes your stay. Great food and options. For a Fullers establishment there was only one ale on tap, no other Fullers bottled options at all which was a shame. We stayed in a deluxe double, it was in a great spot off courtyard, very clean but could do with a bit of tlc. Stains on sofa, furniture a bit worn and shower rack hanging on for dear life, but overall had a...

(Only minor negative - the wifi was poor to non-existent esp in the bedroom - not a major issue for us, but could have been for some especially as there was negligible mobile reception)"

We were only there for a short time (had a Guernsey ferry crossing the next morning) but thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Having the hotel facilities like the bar, restaurant and breakfast on hand, you still have the option of a fully functional kitchen, lounge to relax and watch TV (World Cup Rugby in our case) and a private terrace to sit out on. Perfect base to explore the surrounding area. Amazing staff!"
