"Very clean, pleasant atmosphere "

"We enjoyed a two night stay in this lovely hotel. However, I was angered by the fact that we initially took out the insurance policy that was advertised on the Hotels.com booking page, at the time of booking and then instantly, afterwards, we cancelled the insurance policy, as it wasn’t needed, only to find that we had still been charged by the insurance company Xcover.com, when my credit card bill arrived!! Shame on xcover.com!!"

"We only stayed for one night but it was really nice from the moment we walked in, With a helpful receptionist The room was a great size and bathroom was as well, very clean and well looked after. The breakfast was nice with good selection of hot and cold items. We used the swimming pool and the water was nice and warm and a nice padded floor in the pool and good shallow end for little ones, and also towels were provided by the reception of the pool area. "

"One of the things which makes Britain great is a traditional hotel steeped in history where everywhere you go you’ve a sense of the past and the people who’ve moved through the space and used its facilities before you. Vicky and George were fantastic hosts. We had the best time staying here this weekend. The food was terrific. The cooked breakfast was so tasty and served in a charming dining salon.
