"Great stay at Pullman would highly reccomend staying in not just this hotel but in this area (Wulingyuan) if ur looking to go to the Avatar Mountains as it was only a 3min drive to the cable car station costing 70p. Eating was was quite expensive... we ordered two mains one starter and an alcoholic drink which came up to £58. Staff are really friendly. Breakfast was in a massive hall in next to Lobby which had a rotating buffet everyday and a western + very chinese option, the hall had carpeting...

"We had a wonderful time at No. 5 from beginning to end. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and modern whilst being right in nature. We were very well looked after by the staff especially Frankie who went above and beyond every day even helping us organise trips and buy tickets and driving us to the entrance of the national park. He was even on hand over Alipay chat to answer questions we had whilst on day trips. Frankie’s dog was also very sweet and warmly greeted us whenever she saw us :)...

"Very nice hotel in the mountains with a good view. The hotel was decorated very nice for Christmas. The indoor swimming pool is not open year round like I thought though and the restaurants close earlier during non-peak travel season so rely on room service if you want food late (it was good food)."

"We reserved two rooms for a family of four for 4 nights. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the fresh room every day after a long walking tour. Breakfast is free and has lots of selection. It has a tour information desk offer online tickets booking with no extra fees. Whenever we had any questions or concerns about the tickets (wherever we were) they were always answered my phone. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay...

"It was the most frustrating hotel for years of my experience. Which is 50 countries, 180 cities, over 300 hotels. No telephone, iron, TV set in the room. It is very cold in the whole motel. Only two rooms were occupied inc ours. Cheapest sleepers one can imagine. Meal was better in chinese university, where i studied 30 years ago. Dead bird and cigarettes at balcony. "If you want to stay in the country side with no room service, no restaurant, outdoor bathroom (which I don’t recommend in the winter) then this is the hotel for you. It is probably not the best option for tourists that are visiting Zhangjiajie as it in an isolated area. The hotel itself is clean, and the views are amazing! It was a good experience but it wasn’t what I had hoped."

"The staff was friendly and polite; however, the room was not the cleanest nor the most comfortable. The carpet was pretty stained up and the bathroom only had 1/4 a roll of toliet paper. The toliet paper, I might add, was not refilled so we were on our own for that. The restaurants and breakfast were pretty bad as well. The hotel is no more than a 2.5-3 star "
