It needs a major face lift: mold/dirt on balconies outside, inside the vinyl furniture is torn or has holes in many places and housekeeping took our extra pillows saying we were not allowed to have them! In our first room, the AC did not work at all and shower was terrible. Staff WAS very helpful and easily gave us another room. The AC in the second room at least worked though not well at all. It was always warm in the room. After the second morning...

"I'm reluctant to review our experience to keep this magical place to ourselves, and for fear that it will change. Nicole, Luigi, Guisepi, Michelo, and the rest of the staff/family including Noah the dog, made our stay at Il Cefalo truly enchanting. We coincided with the Festa della Bruna, which took place at the small village church which is only 50 meters away creating the perfect vantage point to take in the festivities ending with the most spectacular fireworks we've ever seen. "The outdoor terrace area and pool area was lovely. The pool was clean and a good size with plenty of sunbeds to choose from. The only criticism was the size of the apartment. It wasn't quite big enough for 4 people and had a small kitchen. The bathroom was just sufficient. Overall a nice residence in a nice area though restaurants are very Italian but that is typica of the area and not a problem for us."

"La struttura è situata in una posizione eccezionale dal punto di vista del panorama, a pochi minuti dal centro e dalle spiagge. E' gestita in maniera ottimale dalla proprietaria Marzia, molto cordiale, disponibile ed ospitale. Ottima la colazione con vista mozzafiato dalla terrazza, camere pulitissime ed accoglienti. Esperienza sicuramente da ripetere."
