"This hotel is not even close rating 4 stars. It needs a major face lift: mold/dirt on balconies outside, inside the vinyl furniture is torn or has holes in many places and housekeeping took our extra pillows saying we were not allowed to have them! In our first room, the AC did not work at all and shower was terrible. Staff WAS very helpful and easily gave us another room. The AC in the second room at least worked though not well at all. It was always warm in the room. After the second morning...

"I'm reluctant to review our experience to keep this magical place to ourselves, and for fear that it will change. Nicole, Luigi, Guisepi, Michelo, and the rest of the staff/family including Noah the dog, made our stay at Il Cefalo truly enchanting. We coincided with the Festa della Bruna, which took place at the small village church which is only 50 meters away creating the perfect vantage point to take in the festivities ending with the most spectacular fireworks we've ever seen. "Great location, few steps away from the Castellabate central square, amazing to explore this small charming city. Kitchen in the suite room available and nice balcony with a sea view. Overall would recommend if you are in Castellabate!"
