"The bedroom, breakfast options and morning staff were excellent. I really wanted to be able to give this property a positive review. However, after the room was cleaned on the second night, our bedroom door was left open and consequently not secure. There was no additional security between the bar and the bedroom so anybody could have just walked in. What made this worse was the attitude of the gentleman behind the bar who I spoke to about this. He was very dismissive and didn’t seem to think...

"What a lovely place to stay with beautiful views of Bath. Excellent service on arrival, bedroom was modern and comfortable, the only down side was the heating on full blast and had to use the fan all night. Mini fridge to store items such as drinks or snacks was a great addition to the room. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use all the amenities the hotel had to offer such as the bar but we did have breakfast in the morning which was a range of cooked and continental, something for everyone....

"All staff really friendly and welcoming. Evening meal and breakfast delicious. Bedroom spotless and comfy, also quirky with the creaking floorboards and old chimney breast. Will be returning again when we go to Bristol airport. "

"We stayed here for 1 night 20/4 in room 4. We received a warm welcome from the young lady on reception. The room was clean & comfortable, if a little bit dark & small. I need to sleep with the window open & so could hear the busy road. Managed to sleep OK. We also put the air conditioner on, but it didn’t seem too powerful. We didn’t have breakfast as £17.95 per person is way too much for us. We also managed to get a parking space on an adjacent road, so didn’t pay the £10 parking charge. "

The surrounding property is nothing short of gorgeous and peaceful. The room was top-notch! Staff was wonderful. The bar is fantastic, and the dining was excellent!
