"The property was very beautiful and clean.The staff were very kind and helpful. The included breakfast was good.However, a lot of the food options weren't available, meaning for omelettes one day there was no mushrooms or spinach. "Although it was just off of the water we were steps from the beach. Property is beautiful. 2/2 condos with full kitchens and large balconies. On property pool was fantastic with a swim up bar. Highly recommend!!"

"If peace and serenity are what you are looking for, Barefoot Cay Resort is ideal. As a boutique resort with a limited number of accommodations you can easily avoid the crowds. "We just returned from two weeks in Roatan. Our second week was spent at Casa Cowee in the casita and it was wonderful. The Casa Cowee property is beautiful and Suzanne has been successful in making improvements to the property while keeping it true to island styles. Jose and Paul do an excellent job of keeping the property well maintained and are always available to provide assistance. "Definitely a step above for the area. You can tell they focus on service and above average food and amenities. I liked the location a lot and having the beach/bay right there as well as dive shop next door was very convenient. One thing that was frustrating was there were no hooks to be found in the room! Not even the bathroom. This makes finding places to hang towels and other items (especially w family of 4) frustrating. Also minimal to no storage and only one luggage rack. Had to live “out of suitcase” all week. For such an upscale property this is a notable and poorly managed portion of a guest’s stay. Regardless I would stay there again for all of the other reasons. Kudos to the entire team for their devotion and hospitality! "

"The breakfast staff was super friendly as well as the restaurant! We were helped by a nice young lady during breakfast and everday she put a smile on our faces and invited us to the beach bon fire at the beach club. Can’t remember her name but fantastic service."
